Strategic Partnership with Alephium to Bring Oracles to its Ecosystem
We are delighted to announce our partnership with Alephium to make DIA’s suite of oracle products including token price feeds available on the Alephium ecosystem.
What is Alephium?
Alephium is a Layer 1 sharded blockchain that enhances Bitcoin’s PoW and UTXO frameworks to offer scalable, secure, and energy-efficient solutions for DeFi and dApps. Built on the innovative BlockFlow sharding algorithm, it can support over 10,000 transactions per second, merging the advantages of UTXO and account models for high programmability and security. Alephium also introduces a low-energy consensus mechanism, Proof of Less Work, significantly reducing energy consumption compared to traditional PoW systems without reducing security.
DIA Oracle Suite Now Available on Alephium
We are delighted to announce that Alephium has partnered with us to bring DIA’s oracle infrastructure to the Alephium network. This collaboration introduces a variety of products to the Alephium ecosystem, including token market price feeds.
“We are extremely happy to welcome DIA as the first oracle on Alephium mainnet. Offering a valuable public good in the form of a featureful oracle will be invaluable to ecosystem projects & enable powerful dapps. We can’t wait to witness the creativity and use-cases it will unleash from our builders who will be able to use these oracles for free, both the public ones or custom-built!”Maud BannwartAlephium COO
Token Price Feed Oracles
DIA has integrated the DIA xMarket oracle product on the Alephium network, delivering real-time price information of assets on-chain. As of now, the oracle delivers real-time price data of tokens ALPH, USDT, wBTC, ETH, USDC and AYIN.
This integration leverages DIA’s capability of aggregating trade data from a vast network of over 80 different sources, including Alephium native DEXs, to produce robust market price feeds.
The price feeds are engineered using a Moving Average Price with Interquartile Range (MAIR) methodology to compute asset prices. Moreover, the oracle is designed to update asset prices on-chain if there’s a deviation of more than 0.5% from the last reported value, as well as 1h heartbeat.
DIA’s robust oracle infrastructure is currently powering over 100 decentralized applications (dApps) working on the DeFi, LSTfi and RWA verticals.
Use the Oracles
Developers can interact with DIA to oracles on Group 0 via the following smart contracts (oracles will be deployed on other groups in the near future):
- Price Oracle (testnet): vKdWgyqtQZzAV7eoMXxQCkyiNtceViGZheXC1iHbKFDZ
- Price Oracle (mainnet): 285zrkZTPpUCpjKg9E3z238VmpUBQEAbESGsJT6yX7Rod
To learn how to use the oracles, developers can access Alephium developer documentation.
